This 14 minute first installment has been developing since my college days, where I first debuted the concept as a live dj set for the school radio to give more exposure to techno, EBM, and industrial music. It didn't work out- the audio doubled on the stream and I was too embarrassed to do it again!
After college, RAVERHEADS was my personal project I developed and picked at while doing freelance work.
My intention was to explore characters navigating young adult life, while also being love letter to my favorite movies growing up, that being 90s-2000s raunchy rom-coms.
I combined my skills in Adobe Flash (now called Animate) I learned from old Newgrounds days, on the job, and from friends to attempt a cinematic cartoon that was manageable for me to do almost completely by myself (luckily I had many friends swoop in to help here and there) where you can see the jittery puppeted, handdrawn, and tween hybrid animation that gives it a rough old internet feel.
I hope to make future installments and continue working on this as a personal passion of mine, and as entertainment to you!
